My first video editing ever shows my love for self defence weapons. This here is a Russian Baikal 442 which takes Makarov rounds (9x18).
This is by no means a review of the gun, which by the way is an excellent conceal carry weapon. Fires accurately (a nice group from 10 metres but not too great from 25m, which probably is my lack of shooting skills)
The Location is ASCC, Karachi, Pakistan
Comments and suggestions welcomed
I had the pleasure of hanging out with my good friend John and we decided to shoot a series of videos on the AK platform. This is the first of what I hope to be a complete and thorough series on the AK. In this video we go over the differences between the milled and the stamped receiver AK's.
I hope everyone from very experienced collectors to beginners get some good information from this video. It is an informal discussion and just hanging out and listening to John go over the AK platform is a pleasure all in itself.
Both John and I hope and encourage comments and please, if you have any questions, ask. If you know of anything we missed, please let us know. I appreciate and thank all who watch. Thanks again and God Bless.
I was planning on shooting this disassembly this weekend but John came by and we decided to shoot it together. I love the banter between John and I and I hope you all do as well.
This is a complete disassembly of the Romanian SAR2 AK74, however, it could be any AK, they all take down the same way. The only thing missing is taking the upper foregrip apart, we shot that right after this video but I forgot to edit it in until after I had rendered it. I will include that footage either in the reassembly video or by itself in a very short video, probably the former.
Thank you for watching and as always, we enjoy the comments and ask all to please leave one and if you have any questions, ask. Thanks again and God Bless.
In the last video, John and I disassembled the Romanian SAR AK 74. In this video, we reassemble it. I will soon be sending this rifle out to " Piece of History " in Arizona for a complete make over.
I can't wait to get it back and see the details of what it was originally intended to be. I have been collecting all the pieces to re-militarize the firearm. That is half the fun of doing a make over. I hope you all enjoy this video as much as I did in making it.
Thanks again to all and God Bless.
